Attacking the rust monster!

First order of business was to take out the remaining interior parts and start removing as much surface rust as possible using any tools that wont harm what metal is left. I chose a high speed sander for flat areas and a wire-cup brush for contoured areas. I cant get new tools in here fast enough so I had to make do with some old electric tools I have. A compressor will be delivered too late to be used for this part of the project unfortunatly. If the metal wasnt so pitted I would spring for a body wash or I would sand blast it but my plan is to chemically de-rust it then seal it with something like the Eastwood or POR-15 system. If it rusts again the panels will be replaced with reproductions I already purchased. I was expecting the rust to be much worse but the pitting is not too deep in most areas. There is one small area that will need new metal on the passenger side. The car is solid except the pitting in the floorpans and trunk.
